In the 3d workshop I base my drawing and collage image layout to make the wooden frame size.

Linen canvas on wood

Linen canvas was chosen for its original color and natural grid effect that adds texture when painting. My plan was to paint with pastels, however this medium does not allow for the creation of texture.

Then, using organic and water based glue to masking the linen canvas in to wooden frame.

Progress to sketch

Because pastel could be covering by layer. We need to make the sketch line very in deep，So I chose oil pen to starting my sketch.

For the details thing l would be use the color pencil to make it look more natural.

Each piece of wood cut to size needs to be joined together to form the required canvas size. Compared with canvas, the combination of cotton, linen and wood can make the picture smoother. The place where it is spliced with other canvases will not be obvious.
